About
Jane
Unable to find sophisticated western accessories, Jane Lavey
made her first belt buckle in 2002 from an antique store find and
a donated cowboy buckle. From that single buckle, GiddyUp Jane was
born.
Jane finds vintage jewelry and western buckles by scouring antique
malls, flea markets, and local estate sales wherever she travels.
Ann and Leo, her parents who live in Durango, Colorado, help
out by finding her authentic cowboy buckles from across the western
states. Each individual buckle is then designed and crafted by Jane
in her studio in St. Louis, Missouri. The GiddyUp Jane cowgirl-cool
style is heavily influenced by Jane's college days in Arizona and
then later time in Chicago.
Jane lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her son, Jack.
